Lauren Loud is an actor, writer, and director originally from Tennessee, now based in New York City. She has a BFA in Film & Television from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (2021). Lauren made her New York City acting debut originating the role of Rosie in Emmy Weissman’s Motherf**king Girl Scouts at The Wild Project as part of The Fresh Fruit Festival (2022). Lauren’s written work has been published in Waif Magazine (2023), and her short screenplay Liz was recognized as a Second Rounder by the Austin Film Festival (2024). Her upcoming short film Wild Like Me (2024), in which she writes, directs, and stars, was featured in The Middletown Press, where she produced and filmed the project in partnership with local children’s museum Kid City. Lauren has training in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance as well as musical theater and vocal training. She does concept photography and works as a production designer, assistant director, production assistant, box office attendant, and Front of House manager across NYC film and theater productions and live events.
